Has anyone put a set of the latest Polaris skis on a M8. Just wondering if it can be done without a lot of modification to either the sled or the ski. thanks for any reply.

i have been looking to do this as well
from what I have gathered from other posts and PM's they will bolt directly on, however there is a little bit of slop. Everyone I have talked with has had positive things to say about it
let us know how it works if you get it done!

I have them on my 10 m-8 and you just use the polaris stuff, the rubber damper needed trimming, about 1/2 an inch top to bottom and it works good ,,cheaper than powder pros and works as good,,however the steering effort in set up snow is way heaver but it works better in the loose snow and turns better on the trail

Installed the gripper skis on my 11 M8. Make sure to use the Polaris ski bolt and the polaris rubber under the ski, or go to a hardware store and get a grade 8 bolt about 5 to 5 and a half inches long. I didn't trim the polaris rubber saddles on mine and it works well, although not a perfect fit, the rubber under the ski is a bit long in the front and back. If you try to use the cat bolt and somehow hammer it through the polaris spindle bushing, youll never get it out again, ever. With all that said the polaris skis are a nice improvement over the cat stockers. They are about the perfect width for flickability and flotation.
