Polaris Pro-RMK Chaincase Cover

Is there a trick to getting the chaincase cover off the Pro? Trying to pull mine off, and it is being a pain. Got the rotor/caliper off, but the cover seems stuck on the top where the bearing comes through.

You need to pull the sleeve out of the seal first. It's kind of a pain but grab it with a channelloks and rotate and pull at the same time. There is an o-ring underneath it that needs to be saved for re-installation. Sometimes, you have to file/smoothe the splines to remove any burrs in order to get the bearing to slide off the jackshaft (with the cover).

NVM Finally got some patience and took a look at it closely. Initially thought that the aluminum bushing stayed on because it was tight (oring underneath). THanks for the response Rick!
