Anyone putting these on, be careful taking the bolts out of the bracket that you remove on the gas tank. Both inserts stripped in my new axys. By the time I realized it it was too late. Can't loosen and can't tighten. Thanks polaris. The seat is awesome in my book

Pry up on the bracket with a screwdriver.
Put a plastic strip on the tunnel to protect it.
Loosen slowly.

Stripped mine too.
The 10mm nut size (m4?) carriage bolts are too small for the tee slot.
I have been replacing them with 1/4-20 carriages and ss acorn nuts since the first pro that went metric.
