Polaris Primary in 05 Rev 800

Bought a Skidoo Rev. mod sled last fall . Has a polaris primary on it. The primary makes a chatter noise though and I don't know if it is because the ho motors have a shake to them or if it is something else. ( balance issue ). Rumor has it that the poo primary on a rev is not uncommon. Any one familiar with this set up and is it a good one or not? If it is a good one then any clue what this noise in the primary may be

I have heard of good and bad about have them on rev's. The good is you can tune them pretty easily, but the bad is they are lighter then the stock clutch and can cause crank failures. (I've never seen a crank failure because of this that is just what I've read.)

Possibly a bushing going out of the clutch. Get it off and looked at right away before you do have crank issues. My favorite mod to Cat/Pol primaries are the 911 Response Kit with ABC bushing distributed by Thunder Products. 250% more bushing surface and adjustable belt clearance all without removing the spider.

I will for sure pull it off. I just put a new (from skidoo) crank in it and new pistons etc. I don't need any more issues.
