Polaris or Cat?

i have a 2006 700 rmk that has been a great sled 4000 miles and no problems what so ever. there was a polaris dealer in my town but they are so longer selling snowmobiles and the group i ride with is all polaris and ride with he guy who owned the dealership and know him well. I also ride with another couple friends who have cats and i dont know if i should keep my sled 1 more year and then buy a 800 rmk or M8, or to buy an M7 this year? I have always been a polaris guy, but the closet Poo dealer is 50 miles.

Best service matters, the sled that fits you matters. Most importantly is that it is your money and you decide how you want to spend it not a stranger on the internet. But the Raw chassis is a step above the '06 you are riding now.

Service is a big factor, but the new polaris is awesome! I can throw mine around like nothing and im only 14 yrs. old. (but i am 6'1" and 160lbs) But that is beside the point. I have riden artic cat they are nice, but they seem to much like the older trailing arm sleds, to me anyways. Although i have seen many guys ride the m-series like it is nothing to throw it around. I guess it is just prefference. But If you enjoy the tippiness of your sled, you will love the new ones. Good luck with your decision.:beer;

having ridden both, owning one, and riding w/ the m's all the time i would have to say you cant go wrong either way. the m-series sleds are more nimble, they lay over easier and go through the deep snow better. stock for stock the d8 has more power and will pull an m8 in most situations... but who leaves things stock ne more these days.
