Polaris Lawsuit, need help.

2008 dragon 800 1300 miles. 300 miles after new update cylinber skirt broke and damaged engine cases. pistons are good. 3-4K to fix on a sled worth 6 grand. I have 10 grand into this sled and it is now worth nothing unless I fork out 4K dollars. I don't think so.
I have had two good winters on this sled, and it broke 30 days out of warranty and Polaris is rejecting the claim

Same thing happened to me with my sled being a month out of warranty. Cost me about 2500 to get it fixed and it was down for 2 months. They wouldnt even give me a deal on parts or anything.

Polaris knew they designed a junk motor...

Thats why they came out with the upgrade kit in 2010.
The upgrade kit did nothing to address the real motor design problem , It only pro longed the inevitable and brought most sleds out of warranty.

So this is how Polaris should handle this , all owners of 2008-2010 cfi 800' s
Should receive a all new cfi-2 800 motor.

Or send us an all new 2012 pro.:face-icon-small-hap

Are you serious

Theshadowrider really it's everybodies fault that bought a Dragon because they had faith in Polaris to build a quality product and stand behind it. I guess it's ok to build a defective product and just hope to ride it out till everybody forgets about it, and we wonder why Japan does so well.
As for my experience motor went down at 1000 miles took a entire month to get a new motor three months later and 400 miles second motor when down no warranty time was up you would think a new crate motor would come with a new warranty not so.
I'm not sure the big three auto makers could get away with that.
IMO I think Polaris should give every Dragon owner a new Pro motor (not bloody likely).
So I guess no comany should be held responsible for their product it's the consumers fault for buying it.
Complacent atitudes like that just send a message to these companies it's ok to build crap becuase it's the consumers fault for buying it.
I call bullcra$ companies should stand behind there products especially when you pay 11,000 for a snow machine.
Just my 2 cents worth

Yeah, there we go.....that's the way to make Polaris fix the problem...let's break their bank and give it all to the lawyers....

Vote with your dollars, and buy something else. If you really want to send the message, then recommend to everyone you know that they buy a different sled. When their bottom line gets thin, they'll learn for the future. Lawsuits do nothing but get lawyers rich. We have enough rich lawyers in this country/world.

My $0.02.
I dont agree with you at all, for how many sleds went down over and over again till warrenty expired is b.s . And now the fact that polaris has one of the best sleds out there, now you cant tell people because of the IQ disaster not to buy the pro thats ridiculous.
I hope you do start a lawsuit and if its as simple as giving your v.i.n, name, and some other information to get you on the list why not do it. My $0.02
Keep us posted on your progress

Nobody cares they got there new pro now, they are ok with helping fill the pockets of these crooks even after they took it in the azzz them selves makes perfect sense i know.:faint: just how people are anymore they are all for them selves and not helping others.

Wow....class action lawsuit.

You walked into the dealership just like the rest of us. With one thing on your mind.......

To purchase something that you can drive the livin' pizz out of every weekend. Thes 2-stroke motors make incredible horsepower for something the size of a briefcase. Power to weight ratio considered it's like we're driving nascars

These things break....it's what they do...it's part of the game

Go buy a 4 stroke...............and a shovel
