Polaris issue or dealer issue? lol... pull starter wrapped around the coolant bottle.

My first polaris been doo/lynx rider for 10 years. 2025 Khaos 850. while removing the foot stirrup things ( be gone I hate those things ) i noticed this. Probably something I should have noticed a long time ago, I have 5 rides on it but not once have even ever attempted to pull the pull cord not even in the garage, not at all anywhere. ( estart lol ). I un fished it out of there and put it back on its wheel where its supposed to be and pullstarted it fine.

Is it brand new or a resell? Most likely that happened if someone took the plastics off a failed to properly route the pull cord. FYI when you take that plastic off the pull cord handle comes with it so it's never really removed from the sled. Still easier to work on then a skidoo... lol!

Here is an example of what I'm talking about installing some parts on my Boost today. The lower left of the Pic you can see the pull cord connected to the plastics. You have to be cognizant of that when putting everything back together. FTR my 2025 was installed correctly from the dealer.

Yeah someone didnt reroute the cord after pulling the dash plastics off. It pretty much automatically wraps on the coolant bottle when you shove the plastics to the side, but its a very stupid oversight to not adjust it when reassembling. You woulda noticed if you tried to pull start it though haha.
