Polaris Belts

My dealer sold me a polaris belt #321-1111 as a replacement for #321-11080. The new belt looks like it should run a piece of farm equipment instead of a snowmobile, it won't fit in my belt holder even, way to thick when folded togather. This is for a 2002 800 EDGE. They told me that is the replacement and I can't get the old style anymore. Can any body let me know if this right?

3211080 was obsolete for about 2 weeks polaris swapped to the 3211111 and dropped the price from way to much to $80.47 retail which is the price for a 3211080 which are now available again

With primary shimmed correctly, and proper break-in, that "1111" will wear like iron and give better performance. I leave my "1111" in my gear bag and run an XS809 and have found it performs as well as OEM belt. The "1080" is still too expensive for me and wont dissapate(sp)heat as well as the "1111" or the XS809. Just my 2 cents.

BTW: I can fit the 1111 in my holder, just make sure you get innner lugs to interlock

yeah, 080's are used on most of the machines in the past 4 years or so.

I have a Gates Xtreme 44x4640 on my 900 right now and it's holding up damn well. Half the price of an 080 too.
