I know I'll probably start a firestorm here but I'd like to know everyone else's experience with Polaris' chinese junk. I've gone through two snowmobile jackets this year, one with a bad zipper, the other the stitching loosened up, one set of bibs, again bad stitching, two pairs of atv gloves that fell apart, and I've had my Polaris winch fail over and over. My dealer has replaced every item at no charge and repaired my atv under warranty. After looking over my atv I have found some parts marked "made in China". The wiring harness on my sled says "made in Mexico" on a tag wrapped around it. I am switching to Klim gear for obvious reasons. I'd sure like to fly the Polaris banner on my clothing when I ride but it's a pain taking it back and bothering my dealer with chinese junk that falls apart as I take it out of the package. It's a business decision on Polaris' part I'm sure, but if we continue to have these issues, Polaris will be driving customers to other brands. Anyone else out there having issues with this chinese crap? Any Polaris marketing people lurking here that can shed light on why your accessories continue to fail?

I bought all new gear this year and tried really really hard to buy products made in at least "North America" very difficult to find anything not made in China. My new Klim bots are made in China....what do you do ?
My wife really enjoyed all the phone calls I had her make finding out where everything was made, but I tried.

I bought my wife a poo hawkey quad for christmas last year and it has been in the shop more than we have had it. Has anybody else had experience with one of these POS's and found a fix for how cold blooded it is. I am going to the cabin this weekend and I have no confidence it will start after sitting for 1.5weeks. Dealer says that I have to drain the carb when it sits that long...................BS. My '85 honda 3 wheeler fire's up after six months.
most old hondas will start after sitting for six years.
