Anyone running one
i am thinking about getting a dragon,
but Derek at attitude told me the 900 putts out 265 hp at 10 lbs
so is there some 900 turbos out there and how do they work
Jonny

Tja.
+ compfusions motorkuddar.
Med dagens andrahandsvärde på 900...
så borde en Dragon 166" vara ett klipp
grymtsnygg maskin med dom rätta bitarna.

OK!!!???.. lol hey i seen a post on one bad *** turbo 900 the other day the 900 rmk is an awesome sled with a turbo.... well lets just say it would be enough to get your pecker hard.....

no doubt it would run hard, but keeping it cool and wearing a belt are already tough for a lota guys. throw in the fear of the clutch landing in the bellypan and I bet that is why you never see many of them. too bad it was not a more reliable sled, it could have really been a power house instead of a money pit

And you own a CFI 900 to know of this?

There are plenty of options for keeping them cool ... Fabcraft makes a full-length tunnel cooler, VE makes bigger coolers ... hell I rarley see over 130 in the powder on mine and usually it's 110 or so ... almost TOO cold.

There are also options for motor mounts and bottom ends as well ..

Ultimatley the whole point I started this 900 project last year was that I was eventually gonna do a turbo or a 975 + nitrous on it, but I'm into it for so much money now I don't think that will ever materialize.

Ride a stock Dragon 800 then switch back to the 900 back to back on the same day and then tell us what chassie you want with 200hp at the track I used to ride a 900 and loved it but I think I know what your answer will be.

A 900 Polaris turbo would climb to the moon no doubt. I havent ridden one turboed but Ive seen the turbo 900 that Derek has. You will have to do some things to take care of belts and cranks and deal with the weight and vibration but it can be done. You can certainly get a 900 for a good price right now and that leaves you a lot of $$ to fix things with. If its what you want then go for it, if not find a 700 iq and have SPS turbo it for you or even an 800Dragon if your budget permits. The 700 Dragon turboed from SPS is a radically fun sled.

I have a 05 900 and was wondering who makes turbo kits for these or if you have to do it yourself. I already have all the other issues taken care of with the belts, vibrations, and crank problem so now I might as well turbo it and make new problems.

We figured out a way to get the 900 so its not so loud. These are sick setups for what the 900 is. Dave hows yours running have you got to beat up on any 800's or 1000's

As for the chasie yes the 900 is heavier. But ride a M1000 Turbo then a M8 turbo and see what is the big dawg. The torque of the 900 makes it more fun in the tree's and more HP no doubt. Put it on a diet as dave did you just got a killer machine that leaves people saying is that really a 900. LOL
