Plumbing for air

I work with compressed air systems, represent ingersoll-rand using pvc pipe is a definate no - no I've seen the aftermath, compressor oil in the lines breaks the glue down over time.. hate to see somebody get hurt! Doing a loop system is best with drip legs on any down spouts. Copper type "L" only or black or galv pipe. Or look up home depot or IR dealer and ask for some simple air piping its aluminum( wont corrode) and if using less than 150PSI you can use EL pipe which is put together with press lock fittings, fast and easy! The other pipe is referred to as SL and is rated for 205PSI and is put together with compression fittings. not sure if home depot is selling this stuff any more? Any way hope this helps
