Going over a clutch for a friend with a 99 700 XC SP. I figured I would replace the spring, but I'm having doubts as to what it is. Roughly 4 1/4" inches long. Gold or maybe titanium in color with what looks like a blue or dark blue stripe. Stock should be dark blue/ white from what I could find 120/310. I'm curious what rate this thing is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like a POLARIS exhaust valve spring after running it with purge line to the solenoid plugged after a while............................................................

Oh, haha. :face-icon-small-ton It was working fine with it so I will likely just use it again. Just figured I would put in something of a fresh variety if I could figure out what it was.

Well, upon further inspection I replaced the spring with a team red 140-320. The weights had developed some pretty noticeable engagement notches. Also, looking at the sheave face I suspect this sled was not achieving full shift out. Will be curious what will be said after the first ride this year. I'm suspecting this may have been possibly a heel clicker spring or something along those lines.
