I just read everything that Meatman just wrote and it broke my heart. I wanna start a fund to help his family out. Basically he was serving our country overseas and his house stateside burned down last week.

If anybody is out there that wants to help out and make a donation please PM me. I have Paypal but I will take checks and money orders from those who don't. I will start an account in his name to help his wife and baby out while he completes his tour.

I'm gonna set up an account at my Credit Union so I can monitor deposits and get a certified cashiers check to him or wired to his bank account where he lives. They will waive all fees involved to help me out. I will be doing this tomorrow when I cash my paycheck.

Please help Meat out, I've been friends with him for a couple of years and he would do ANYTHING for anybody. Multiple times he has asked me to come ride out west with him-and give me a longtrack to ride. He never asks for anything in return. He's served over in Afghanistan in 2005, and now is in Kosovo since July of 2007. I know his wife and him are having their one year soon, and it'd be a great anniversary present if you could help his family out! PJ I'll be sending a check soon!

Setting up a paypal account is super easy to do, you can route it through yourself or get their account, money will go right to them. I'm in for supporting whatever, let us know the account # and I'll see if our canadian credit union will be able to access it to deposit funding.

There is not a thread on this. Meatman posted this to his friends on the Max Out thread to let them know he would not be online for a few weeks. He received the dreaded Red Cross messages this morning for him to phone home. At least his family is ok, but sounds like some big damage to his home. I do not know if he has homeowners insurance, or if he does, what kind of coverage.
