Never been to the snowies me and some buddie are thinking about going in feb. Where are some places to stay on the mountain. Any suggestions?

Winter Creek Condos at the bottom outside of Centennial. Great place - we stay there once or twice every year. You'll want to trailer up to the top each day - no gas up top on this side though. We've rode up once but a waste of gas IMO. I've heard good about MMC but never stayed there

You may also want to try the ones in my signature line.
We stayed at Winter Creek Condos last year. Awesome place to stay. Brent and Mira are totally down to earth and just all around nice people. Highly recommend them.

http://www.wintercreekcondos.com - Great place and yes, I agree, Brent and Mira are great people! Close drive to Green Rock, close to the friendly store for fuel, easy access to the bear tree for pizza and beer.
Down the road by the Vee Bar is another great place owned by great people- http://www.twodogchalet.com The bonus about staying here is that it is located right before the turn to Albany so you can decide each morning where you want to ride out of depending on conditions of the weather or your group

Hey guys, We met you out there last year, 3 guys from N.D., Have you been out to the snowys yet this season? We just got back on Sunday, snow was great out there.
As of today can you ride out out of winter creek condos, also do they have gas?

I was there last weekend and two groups were riding from the cabins. I hear its snowing there right now, should only make it better. Bring some gas cans to top of your sleds between rides. The Friendly store sells 91 octane two miles away. No gas on site at the Condos. Depending on what you cook for dinner
