Placer

Were people waiting for someone to break a trail, or for the snow to settle and the avy danger to subside in that gully? When that goes they wont be getting your body back until august.

Aksnopro... thx for beatin a trail up... was set up nice today. Had a few pockets of decent light... There is noway my renegade would've made it without trail....

Placer 2-8-2010

Great weather, some open water on the trail on the river. Snow was great in some spots, and good in others. Seems like the parts that can get some sun were the best. Getting ridden up fast though.

Placer sucks

It's cool....

Front, and back bills are ok (See Warning sign at Entrance to 'Koots) but I hear the 2011 Helmets will have the option to wear the bill kicked off to the side, or even about 15* off center front, as is the fashion now.

The original helmets were bad enough...now they have a backwards one??? what is the world coming to...

Nice pics though, wish I didn't have to work.

Funny part of your post... 'they'... pictured there is a 25 year oldish guy named Zach Shoemaker(spelling?), not only is he an amazing rider, but he is the one you can credit for making these 'bad' helmets. He made one for Jimmy "Blaze" as they *used* to ride together... unfortunate for Zach, that helmet became the 'prototype' for Jimmy and his Pro Model Helmets - with zero credit going to Zach. I'm sure this backward version will end up on their production line soon enough.

Nonetheless, the guy can ride and huck like very few can(see pic)...at the very least, he can be himself and wear whatever ugly shìt he pleases.

Photo i took 2/8/10 - Squirrel Flats.

I rock the no bill style. More aerodynamic (less parasitic/asymmetric drag) makes it appear as though I'm going faster than I actually am. Its really awesome. Really.
