Placer River

Deeeeeeeeeep!

Rode Placer today. Weather wasn't ideal, but could've been worse. Snow was DEEEEEEP! My rev had no problem, but the three yamaha's i was with were buried a good portion of the day. Here are some pics:

First stop, you'll notice how deep it is, i'm(hmk jacket) 6'4 and was standing straight up..

Placer was DEEP. We finished the trail the rest of the way up the front side to squirrel flats and it was great. Wish I'd have brought more gas.

If you guys going south forget your gear (helemt, boots, whatever) don't go home. Glacier City Snowmobile Tours will rent you gear. I got all the way to Placer and realized I didn't have my boots. GCST rented me a set of bunny boots for the day...huge thanks to them.

Nice pics, I should have taken some of you guys too, but I could not feel my fingers for most of they day!
It was good to finally meet ya, hope we can ride together again soon.

was that you boys tearing it up on the hill? wanted to come play but the boys wanted to play in the flats....

Looks like Placer is going to get slammed again..
