thanks ollie
that charlie cabin looks pretty sweet
i will keep it in mind
i was kinda looking for somthing of the beaten path and not so many people

I think there are some around fox park, but I don't know who to call on those.
That is generally further south than I play.

from either one of these 2 places is there good places to climb and jump? we do not want to fly all the way out there and ride groomed trails. we can do that here.

ahhh.
Climbing.
Now that is a WHOLE nother kettle of fish.
All of the good climbing is up north.
There are a few places to stay up around greenrock. However, you will be azzhole to elbows in people.

The other option is to fly into saratoga and stay in ryans park.
Rendezvous lodge has a few rooms.
There is another place over there but for life of me I can't think of the name of it.

If you stayed in Albany it will be a 40 mile drive straight north to get to the climbing. There are all kinds of places to play around albany, but you have to be willing to look for em. They arn't as easy to find as farther north.

Jumping is great around libby flats, however, if there is any real wind that is the LAST place on the planet you want to be. It is flat, it is open and there are no reference points during a whiteout.

Check out Winter Creek Condos just above Centennial. Were about 1 mile above centennial and a mile back off the road (perfect for getting away from the crowds) All of our cabins have kitchens and bathrooms. For a bigger group check out the Phoenix and Cascade condos (sleep 10 comfortably, leather couches, surround sound entertainment centers, big kitchens, sweet bar-b-q's, etc...) We were able to ride from our front door from late December till Mid March this year, depends on the snow. Its a six mile ride up to the greenrock parking area and close to plenty of climbing and jumping. Plus you can head in to town for dinner and cocktails at the Friendly or at the Beartree. Friendly Store has your gas for the next days ride as well.

Check out the website for more info - http://www.wintercreekcondos.com

I just came across this site today, there is tons of cabins/house to rent all over the U.S. and most of them are really nice and have decent pricing also.

mountain meadow cabins may be what you're looking for , trailer up to greenrock then ride in a couple miles, they will come down with a sled to help you move your stuff up there.mmcabins@netzero.net is their email , can't remember the websight.

I'll second that. Chris is a great guy (helped me when my trip was almost done) and the location couldn't be better.

MMCabins

I second that!!!!! He is willing to go the extra mile to help!!!! Chris and his wife are great people. Plus depending on the time of season he will take ya out and show ya the spots..:)
