Great outcome. How long will it be before this Lib run country decides to file charges on our guys for murder.
My only comment, should have kilt the other pirate too. Trying to keep one for interrogation will not work in this Lib run military now. Hell, if they don't give him 8 hours of peaceful sleep it will be considered torture.

Now, in my little mind, this will make the Pirates rather grumpy. The fact that we killed 3 of their innocent members. What might happen now is that they wont be as friendly. A bit more aggression would be expected.
To offset this aggression, I think we ought to blow them out of the water when first seen approaching a boat. Shoot first, question later. Wonder who will do the shooting in this scenario, out in the middle of nowhere?

I like Rush's take: These aren't Pirates - they're "Merchant Marine Organizers" ala ACORN.
Didn't it seem suspicious how both Fox & CNN inserted Obama at the end of this situation? The both web sites kept alternating headlines about how Obama "OK'd" the SEAL's operation as if he had done something.
I say they should have provided the $2mil, got the captain back, nuked the boat with the $2mil and the pirates left on it, picked up the cash and left the shark-food behind.
Now, we'll have to bring this poor Pirate back, send him to Gitmo, close gitmo, give him a nice New York defense lawyer, free the Pirate, pay restitution and get sued for wrongful imprisonment, trauma, etc, etc..
Also - CNN tried to state that these Somali "Merchant Marine Organizers" are doing this just to feed their families in the wake of Western imperialism - even in the CNN discussion that argument didn't hold up too long.

Also if you can believe the media, the Somalians are holding something like 300 merchant marines taken over the years as hostages ...might not be so good for them. Merchant Marine vessels should be allowed to arm them selfs in light of this situation. And I don't mean just water canons and barbed wire strung around there ship. Dino

An Italian tug boat was taken by pirates friday.
