Pine Pass Snow Conditions

wE'LL BE AWAITING YOUR REPORT THANKS SLEDIOT.

Had a few beers and hit the capslock didn't ya? Just got back to town at 11:30pm. Was wicked snow conditions, but believe it or not we fought wicked snowstorms all day and got lost on the way out. Couldn't landmark any of the hills on our wayward return. Too much cloud cover and stormy visibility. Probably anywhere from 4-6 inches throughout the day. I'd say we have another week of riding up the powerline before it's all dirty, that's if the heatwave hits. Was raining like a c!$%sucker down at the tunnel where we parked, that won't help any. Maybe 2-3 more weeks of snow up in the range before that's done. Hoping to get 1 ride in june. Was way in the back almost as far as you can go and was surprised how deep the snow was on all the hills. Going to hit hassler next week and maybe back to Beaver the week after. Nice thing about hassler is U can drive to the snow on the road. Ran into a couple boys from Dawson and Sexsmith I think. 1 poor bastard blew up his chaincase and was trying to rebuild it when we came by, 1515 D&D kit in a 1M. 2 much for those gear cases I guess. Hope they made er out.

Better Go Soon!!!!!

WAS UP ON THE MURRAY TODAY. THE ROAD/PARKING LOT HAS SOME SNOW ON IT AND UP THROUGH THE TRESS WAS GOOD. THEY ONLY SH*TTY PART WAS CROSSING THE TRAIN TRACK AND THE FIRST UPHILL. NO SNOW WHATSOEVER. UP TOP IS PRETTY BEAT UP, LOTSA AVALANCHES AND CORNICES BROKEN OFF. WEATHER MOVED IN AND OUT. WAS SUN TANNING FOR A WHILE THEN HIDDING FROM RAIN AND SLEET. MAYBE HAVE ONE MORE WEEKEND IF THE WEATHER HOLDS UP.

Headin' into hassler tommorrow, suppose to be 28 degrees!! In Dawson that is, probably be last ride. I imagine the snow is rotting as bad as Jimmy Hoffa with the temps we've had lately. U guys give beaver report if ya have any OK?

Went to hassler yesterday, was perfect riding conditions until I lost the stator in the ol' m7. Spent the day sharing a dragon and a turboed m7. Was 21 degrees when we unloaded at km 49 on the hassler. T-shirts and sunblock were a must. Ol timmy there from the cat shack didn't want the sunscreen, go check his burn on tuesday I think he'll still have er.Only prob was the melting snow washed the road out at km 47. The water was up to the bottom of the doors on the trucks. 4 wheel drive and some careful navigating thru all the debris in the water for about 200 ft. Should be at least another week of riding if the road doesn't wash out to bad.

Hasler Conditions

Was in Hasler May 24 and 25. Riding was really good, except for the rain on the 24th. The creeks are really starting to open up, this weekend will likely be the last for the area. Thanks to all the local guy's for the great directions!!!

Rode Powderking On Friday And Saturday Unloaded In The Parking Lot And Snow Is Just A Little Above The Chalet. Good Snow But Fast On The Downhills. Had A Good Time Weather Marginal On Friday But Wonderful On Saturday. About 9 Sleds Out Those Days. Guess I'm Done Now Till November. Had Another Great Season. Wishing For Snow In The Hills.
