Just rolled into chetwynd. Hitting hasler tomorrow. So many people bailed so it's just my bro in law and myself. If anyone wants to meet up in the am let us know otherwise have fun!

How were the conditions Bendy? Thinking about a trip on the 3rd.
Sands
Sands was awesome! Trail totally sucks, but we made it into the back. Broke the trail from 5 cabins back to McNaren Flats. Two pokes to get through the trees up to the third bowl. We sure have some of the biggest mountains around! They might not be high in elevation, but they're huge! Beautiful bluebird day, not a cloud. So awesome. Going back tomorrow to make the loop and come out the First Face trail. We'll be at Mt Solitude between 9 and 10 am. Ben. PS (2) ft of fresh POW!

We rode Hassler today!!!! 2-3 ft of fresh pow everywheres!!!!!!!!!! Snowed 6 inches on us in 4 hrs. I think Ill ride again this wekend> snow conditions are getting good finally. Put the Twisted b!tch to work, I likes how she pulls in the deep pow.....................

CCA FUNDRAISER
Grande Prairie CAC Fundraiser 01/27/12
We are planning on having another "Canadian Avalanche Center" Fundraiser in Grande Prairie on January 27, 2012 to help with the financial needs of providing timely and accruate forecasting for the NORTH ROCKIES, which includes : KAKWA, HASLER, PK, BEAVER CREEK, CORE LODGE, RED DEER FALLS, ETC.
Tickets are $ 25.00
Includes: Steak supper, door prises, silent auction, etc
Where: EGAN's in Grande Prairie, (above Rock City)
This event is being held with the help of the Swancity Snowmobile Club. Last Year we were able to raise over $ 4,250.00 towards the CAC and an additional $ 1,200.00 towards the groomer program at Kakwa. The CAC has pledged that 100% of the funds raised locally will be used in our area.
Come out and support this worthy cause.
Tickets are available at Stojan's or from me.

Was at Sands this weekend. Snow conditions were awesome! The road in was groomed and in good condition.
We were at silversands also. Did u see me blow the pipe apart on my twisted b!tch? lmao.....................in rebuild mode as we speak.

Did you go down the road to the lake? Or did you go into five cabins? We went to five cabins. I was riding a 2011 P-Tek 163. Bro was riding a 08 P-tek 154 and Buddy was riding a 2011 M8 162. Going to Kakwa this weekend. Staying in the wall tent at border town. Taking my Turbo out!
