Pine Pass 2011/2012 is going to be Sweet!

Not sure. And I'd be a sucky guide. Just wondering around based on hearsay and the odd trip I made years ago when I first started. You messaged me, right?

well i dono where the parking lot is too unload even lol leaving gp sunday morning .. might of got a guide off here already... so far its me an my buddy zac i got a 08 renegade an he has a 07 apex.

Well I put the new sled in the garage last night, did all the upgrades to it to give it my personal touch. Been snowing like a bastage ever since. hopefully all the way till next weekend when I can finally ride.

Went by bijoux falls and it was crappy who ever said its amazing there whacked.. had a miserable drive cause the roads were poor we ended up getting stuck 3 times with the trucks. ****ty *** weekend costed me 300$ too ride my sled 18 miles.. not worth the drive too ride out there. im angry.

Well, like you said before. You have no clue where your going and needed a guide.

If you knew where you were going, it woulda been a blast. Crappy road conditions mean awesome sledding. Taking your time driving, and investing in some good tires makes for a better riding day....

Sucks to be you.....sorry your day sucked. Ours was excellent. Put on 60km!

Great riding in that area, again if you know where your going and not many do making it even better

ya the drive sucked bc we left at 6 and made it there at 11am then buddy got stuck dropping the girls off in the pk parking lot.. wasted some time there.. got out and headed towards the 3 parking spots after pk. I got stuck in snow up too my doors wasted more time there finally unloaded etc ride around an find no trails soo load back up an head too the other parking spot... start riding at 1:40pm made it up the power lines a ways and into the trees through a few trails and popped out through 2 meadows and then it lead too a ridge on a descent sized mtn. It got snowing really hard an we had no clue where too go so we played in the meadows. After messing around there we headed back and buddy got into trouble by the powerlines. I put 18 miles on.. We left at 5 ish and made it back at 11pm. was a long day of driving! Heres some pics

Oh and i got stuck leaving that last parking lot.. i got a weak right arm soo it messed me up shoveling so i stayed home today.

He went up this little hill and hit my old mark and it made him goo too the left and head back down but thankfully he hit those trees. There was a 10 ft cliff right after with a very very flat landing and not much of a run out. we managed too sidehill and wiggle it out.

Id love too go with someone who knows the are abut i got school in jan soo im pinching pennies plus buying a 38'' aarm kit with fox float 2's.

im glad you had a good day!! I got crappy continental stock tires on.. driving safe made it be a 9 hr + day worth of just driving.

U need to report Jeff..........................for fox's sakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well I guess I could lie to you and tell you how ****ty it was,but I won't do that. Me and my buddy Phil drove into about 16'' of fresh in the parking lot. Then we proceded to ride in 2-2 1/2 feet of fresh pow all day. Was stopping on the road to wipe the snow out of the goggles from carving and getting face shots. Rode to the Murray's pub sign then turned around.(time constraints) THere is also a very nice base setting up. Will try to post some pics or a vid or two later tonight after work..

Even though there is no report for the North Rockies, the whole province is showing HIGHAvalanche Hazards.

Any ya all going out, use your head! we got a long season ahead of us.
Ya for sure Koby, total bonehead move on my part I forgot to mention that during one of my stucks I found a very hard crust that has about 2' of good solid base snow on top of it with the additional 2'-2 1/2' of fresh stuff on top of it. Stay in the trees and off the slopes guys and let this stuff come come down on it's own. Ride safe peeps .... Jeff

Well there ya have it. Bout the most recent report we have to work with says there is a layer that is questionable as to its consolidation to the load on top of it. Pretty good cold snap & had some fog before this last dump.

Lots a good snow in the meadows.

Conditions

I would have to agree with the two posts above. Both in hasler and Silver Sands there is a noticably harder layer in the lower portion of the snow pack. The large slide path behind the parking lot in hasler has slid naturally already (prior to the last snowfall). Mature trees for this guy for awhile. Have fun and ride safe :face-icon-small-hap

Sands/Calzone

We have to get more guys riding Sands this year and get that trail back to McNaren broke. That or break the trail into the back from the Calzone logging road. Only prob is that you need lots of snow to fill in them creeks! I guess thats a good thing though, keeps us safe until everything has time to set up. Best Mountain riding/scenery West of Chetwynd in my opinion. Anyone want to go Sunday? It should be good with the warm weather for breaking trail through the trees.

Rode hasler today, it was epic snow conditions. Not a track there and didn't see anyone else!

IS IT TOMMORRO YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1ST Ride for me, probably hit up Hassler and mark up the pow in all the lil nooks and crannies. Pro RMK and M1000 need the dust "blown" out of them hahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahaha!!!!!!!!

Lets Ride !!!!

Well I just moved back to GP after riding the last three seasons in the Whistler area, gonna miss the ridiculous snowfall on the coast but looking forward to seeing what the North has to offer for riding. I am off work for 4 weeks starting Dec 4th and I need a new crew.

Help a brother out please!! I will be looking to ride weekdays or weekends for the month of December.
