picture of zbroz a-arm on axys please

Zbroz needs to get their act together IMO. I'm essentially testing the product out for them...their website doesn't reflect this required shock mod, the employee I spoke with told me I didn't need to do anything. BS. Between the spindle mod I didn't know about until after the fact (not psyched on it), now the shock mod I'm less than happy...

100% agree! I would call them and tell them you want to be switched out to the 39" kit or a refund. There website says the same thing for all of their kits. I wondered this myself when looking awhile back but just figured shorter shocks would be needed and did not want that.

I'm running one extra washer on top and haven't noticed any binding. I did run two on my first ride and noticed that the nylock nut wasn't gabbing enough threads and ruined a spindle. I went down to one washer and some red loctite. It hasn't loosened since. I do love how it handles. Much more responsive than 39". I haven't had any negative issues with handling. I am running the dual rate with about 3" of threads showing on top and sway bar. I do adjust my res stiffness to full hard on the trail and back it down 3-7 clicks off trail. Are you towed out a bit on the skis? As with anything alignment must be correct for correct handling.

Couple questions...

I just put this on my sled. So far not sold. I'm currently overriding the ever living crap out of the sled...

1) I had to add a fair number of washers between the spindle and the top control arm or I was getting "ball joint bind" (eg at top out steering became difficult). As a result of adding washers I may have a bit of negative camber now. Will look later

2) How is everyone setting up their suspension with this kit? The front end is TALL. I am running the sway bar. Thinking I'm going to go as soft as possible to lower the front end a bit BUT... (see point three)

3) Currently the sled feels way too prone to deflecting when say, I cross an old track or similar. Running in the 37" position.

4) my alignment is **** so that may be part of it.

Check to make sure you ground out enough spindle material. That's likely where you are binding from on steering.

Send me a PM and I will help you out.

Looks good. I had Kmod 37" on my 2015 RMK and they worked very well. I'm giving the Polaris A arms a try in Is. Park next week.

it is recommended yes. They do sell shorter eyelets for your stock shocks. Corey (Boston Racing) can hook you up with these.

Yes. Ideally you need to shorten the shock.

Z-Broz (Casey) was awesome on the phone and swapping me out for 39" arms.

Some of the Axyses rolling off the line are within spec without shortening the shock. Others not so much. Weird, but it would explain why there has been this variation in what you need to do to get the kit to work.

Honestly to those considering the swap, think really hard about it. I'm not convinced its a benefit at all. The new sled rolls over so easy as is this made the balance point feel overly touchy to me.

Perhaps lighter riders or riders who ride slowly will dig. Anyone who rides at speed will find stability when crossing old tracks or similar severely compromised.
