Thank you very much guys!!!
That tunnel polishing takes some time, bleeding knuckles, colourful language and black hands. As you all know it takes some time to do.
Heres my method........
1- Strip the tunnel as much as you can, I took my tunnel supports off, bag hooks, whatever was easy to come off.
2- Clean tunnel with soap and water, or anything for that mater.
3- I have some felt type discs for a 5" grinder (must be varable speed). Start at a slow speed using an abraisive compound. I like Autosol, or another good product that works is Wicked chrome polish. Wicked comes off a little nicer once dry. Autosol sticks to alumunum more but still does a nice job.
4- Get as much as you can with the buffer/grinder and the rest has to be done by hand. Every spot that you cant get into, this is where the colourful language and all that come into play.
5- Once it's all done I go over the whole tunnel again by hand with Wicked, it's not as abraisive as autosol. The wicked also takes off any dried on polish thats tough to take off by hand. This is a good way to maintain the shine too.
Hope this helps!!!
