Pics of first ride on Nytro with Impulse turbo kit

I setup my nytro with an Impulse Turbo kit. The garrett turbo mounts to the engine with short headers for the lowest possible amount of lag. A new 9.2 gallon gas tank mounts under the seat. The filter comes right out of the old gas fill hole. Will be upgrading shortly to the timbersled front end kit, already destroyed the stock A-arms and left spindle. The kit comes with an attitude fuel controller, I also upgraded to the prologger boost guage. I installed the head shim and plan on running av gas, not sure on how much boost I ll push, but the turbo is capeable of up to 25#s.

I am running a Garrett GT2860RS turbo, it is capable of over 20 psi.

That was at summit lake about a week and a half ago, since then the wind has scoured the snow to almost nothing.

Yes this is my first turboed sled, I had an rmk 900 prior. I rode a turboed apex last year and started looking at four strokes. I was sold on yamaha years ago with their dirtbikes.

I just found out my brother in laws trailer was stolen down in SLC Utah, with two of my friends sleds in it, both Apexs' with impulse turbo kits. One is red and the other is snow camo. So if any body has any imformation at all about sombody trying to sell turbo parts, it would be very obvious that they are from the impulse parts, because they are laser cut with impulse on nearly everything. Any information would be helpful at all.801-870-1587

Here is a pic of the turbo mounted, No I am not planning on running more than 18 psi right now. Maybe someday upgrade to low compression pistons and high strength rods.

That's a SWEET sled ya got there!

That's a bummer on your b-in-lws trailer. I hope they had insurance?? I'd be watching Craiglist, Ebay and any other "for sale" sites if I were them. That sucks for sure.
