vail pass...? It looks to me like it's much further south than vail pass... More like along US 285, north of Fairplay...
Looks like the secret spot got blown up. We rode the SL area as well last weekend. But we always go the big red park/whiskey park, trail 412(untracked 2-3 ft of breaking trail!!!!!!!)
well.... I was completly in the dark untill you showed me picts of south park... that's when I knew.... sorry for urinating your "spot"
I have been that way many times. I love taking the trail towards Encampment and making a turn left, meander through the trees a little and bingo, bango, fresh track a nary a soul! I just wanted to try something different and was very surprised with the terrain. There were some good hills to climb and it could get pretty technical when you throw trees into the mix. Pretty fun spot.
