Figured this would be a cool idea for our AK forum here on Snowest. Alot of us are always out and about either riding with folks, friends or atleast around those who are.

So this is where you get a chance to jab at your fellow Alaskan. This can be the no holds barred, lay it all out for just plain fun "Pic of The Day". We all catch our friends in funny situations, but its never realy that much fun unless you get to share it.

Well here's your chance. (I will regret doing this because I am bound to show up in here a time or 2)

(so if your easily offended- just dont come in here. This is for the grown folks who can take a jab but love givin them back )

My very 1st "Pic of the day" is some poor undeserving soul who just happend to be parked out in Wassily...

I thought alot of guys did this to keep their tailgates from getting rock chipped. I agree it looks ridiculous, but if it saves the gate.

Most of that tail gate is plastic anyway... and it is a truck (well sorta).

I wonder if that tailgate can handle the weight of the sled on it if it is down? Some can't.

What’s funny is the guy who doesn't do this. He pulls a trailer with a salt-shield and rounds a corner tight, or jacks it backing up, inducing costly damage to tailgate, salt shield and one of the three sleds he trailering. Hey....I might resemble that remark. Maybe.

our SRX about fits with the tailgate shut haha, but i once heard from a very trusty source ( a KCC kid lol) he dsaid "it makes the sled look way cool and your track look nasty hahahahaha love those kids

LMAO, my little F150 did it all the time, but then again it is a Ford, im not sure a Chevy, Dodge, or Toyota could of handled the load. Oh, and i left my tailgate down, 1) because you cant pick up and Apex that high, 2) because i didnt care if i got rock chips or not but i never did and 3) because you cant lift an apex that high, lol. Sorry no pics
