Phazer Super charged

I bought a 07 Phazer, supercharged. Took it for a few rips- not far as we have not much snow, and it would hit about 10lbs of boost then drop to 5. Did a pressure test and found the throttle bodies were out of boots. Fixed that, tested again- air box had a small crack in weld. Fixed that- all good. put it all back together, and went for a short blast. What a difference. Half to 3/4 throttle- boost was a 15lbs. Is this too much for a Phazer? What kinda hp would it be?

maybe double check what pully is on there, should only be running about 10lbs, them phazers do no like to be pushed, 15lbs is not a good idea espically if its pump fuel. guys have tried to hit the 18+ range, i have yet to hear of an engine holding together for long

My guess also is it was a sled that was from alberta. Bc and in manitoba we have a huge drop in altitude time and more than likely you will need pulleys maybe heath from mpi will chime in here for you but I'm betting 100 percent that that is your probleM and low elevation 6-7 psi is good for pump gas

Been doing some reading- some guys are useing a bov on supercharged sled to control boost. My question is can I do this on my Phazer? If so, which one and where to mount it?

Just use a manual boost controller
Edit: yes you can run a bov, mpi sells the correct one for that kit they will also weld it to the airbox for you. Then you can run a manual boost controller to control the boost instead of changing the pullies to do so.
