Phazer finds creek botom at Mt Baker

havinfun and I went up to Mt Baker today and on the way back we see this guy walking and stop to see if he needs help, well he said his sled is in a big hole and that he was heading down to find his buddys. so I head down to look for his buddys and Matt takes him back up to his sled, I ride all the way to the Medows and never saw his buddys, I get back up and 4 other riders had stopped to help, a lot of digging and some pulling and out he came! And still no of his buds showed up and I guess this was his first time riding a sled, no radio either, nice friends

Man, people don't realize how dangerous it can be up there under the wrong circumstances. Falling into a hole and knowone else knows = bad situation.

We ran into that guy again down in the trees with his buddies. (and got the sled unstuck again)
The reason Duchunter didn't find his buddies is because they weren't on sleds! There were three guys and a puppy up on the mountain with only the one sled! When we asked him where the other sleds were, he said that he has shuttled the other two guys up there.

Exciter = stop in the middle of the hill to retune heavy poor excuse for a snow machine.

Phazer boy -- Thanks for helping, I really appreciate it.
Me -- No problem, we all get stuck.
Phazer boy -- This is my buddies sled, he got it for free as a project and just got it running.
Me -- Well have you taken and avalanche course cause that's the first thing you should do and I dont see a shovel or gear with you.
Phazer boy -- No but were mountain climbers so we do this all the time.
Me -- You need to take some avalanche training before you come up again..... Here is my spare shovel. Start digging on that side..........

So that is why I did not come across any of his buddys and I guess that is also why they did not come back to look for him he was really lucky he did not get hurt!
