PHAZER 07 144 ...JUNK...... yamaha

mclovin.jpg

It seems to turn/carve just fine:rolleyes:

I ride a turbo Nytro myself, but I think the phazer boondocks better than my Nytro. From time to time I ride my wifes phazer in the pow because it is really fun to ride. I just hook my feet under the bars and lean.

07 Phazer 160 ponies easy...

Changed out for the Barkbuster and Shocks added the MPI super.....

Best carving sled I have ever been on ...

Might want to check the wieght of your butt like Al's sled .. was on its side once this year in 5 feet of fresh powder lol

Honestly you just need to do some adjusting and drop a little wieght - if you reroute your exhaust that helps alot as it takes that additional wieght from the top of the sled... but you just have to realize they built this to ride.... and handle like a motorcycle - So sitting on your butt just does not cut it....

Weight

The dry stock weight for mtn lite is 514 lbs
I copied this off the 4m somewhere, I don't know if it is accurate but was done on a digital scale. The MTX weighs in at 546 dry and 589 wet. The Dragon 800 is 510 dry and 580 wet, the Summit X is 459 dry and 523 wet this is the XP. Dino

Check it out for your self

By the way not to hound you TackBtch But i just dont see how the dragon packs an additional 36# of liquid. Im willing to bet the dry phazer weight is off. A gallon of gasoline weighs 8.66 #'s cant remember how much a phazer holds for gas but i bet its more than 4.965 gallons and thats if you only put gas in the sled, so there is something wrong with your dry weight.

No hounding, just some food for thought

As I said earlier..I don't know if the weights are right, I didn't weigh the sled on my bathroom scale LOL. But we see the pic of the phazer at 589.2 so if the dry weight is 514 that means the sled carries 8.6 gallons of gas. My Manuel says my 08 holds 7 gallons. If your weight for gas at 8.66 a gallon is right then the # I posted earlier don't work either. There # say the sled only holds 4.9 gallons???? Don't get me wrong here I like my 08 so far. Dino:)

Good deal i think the 514 is about right if you only use 7 gals of gas and the rest of wet weight in brake fluid, oil, chaincase oil, radiator fluid and your probably about there. Did you ever get your reverse straightened out?

Reverse

Kinda, Linc told me about adding a 1 mm shim to the secondary to relive belt tension. Works about 80 % of the time now. Gonna sell my 02 800 and try to improve the track and aproch angle on the Phazer. Who knows after that...mayby a hairdryer ....mayby a differant sled ??? Dino:face-icon-small-con
