Just got off the phone with some friends who are currently in PV and Gate Creek area got couple new inches of snow early this week, so with that said it should be an awesome weekend to ride!!
Also, blue bird skies at this time, but looks like clouds are moving in......

I am headed out tommorrow. Would like the latest report.
If you are there look for two old gessers- both on ZX Summits: yellow 600 and blacked out 800 (with the gucci cut down yellow windshield)- most likely stuck.

We're going up to Petersville instead. from what i know at least. Reading on DooTalk that there is still some deep snow so we shall see.

Pville on the 13th.
My friend and I rode in on thursday, and the powder was awsome. In the back 50 towards the hills the swamps and lakes had 2 1/2 plus of fresh powder. Base isn't real good though so watch out for the alders on the hills, had them wound up in my track a couple of times.. Back at work now so no riding for me till New Years. Bummer......

Pville was great!! found knee deep to waste deep power in the first couple swamps!! but, one of our friends in our group had an accident on the road before the main lot, and broke her pelvis. OUCH! It happened 80-100 yards from where we were parked. We were on our way to the trail, and we waited for about an hour or so for the ambulance from Talkeetna to make it over. Busted up her new sled also...

I saw the ambulance heading that way on my way back from Cantwell. She ok ?
How was Cantwell? Anything worth talking about? I seen some pics from last weekend , lots of snow but no base. And does anybody know if Lost Lake is open yet??
I will be leaving Anchorage at 7-7:30am for p-ville. Since my 600 xp (for iron dog) is not in yet, I will be on one of our 800 XP 154's (breaking it in) with my ID partner on his new 600 xp. I have not been in a few weeks, where is the goods at? We plan on heading up and over the Peters hills towards the Dutch if the weather allows.

She just bought an 06 Crossfire 600, still had the "Sold" tags on it! LOL.
She was behind us, and from what i know, She came outta the parking lot, hit and icey spot ion the road and the back end of the sled went one way, and either she hit the gas and hit the brake and did a comelete 360, and.....uh, the rear of the sled hit the bank, and flipped it, with her on it. I will post pics.
Stewart, They took her too Mat-Su, and they just transported her into Providence (anchorage) about 2 hours ago. just got the phone call! Yup, she is doing good except for the pain she said! LOL
