Petersville?

Any updates on P'ville? Kenny Creek lodge says 6" of new snow so far this week.. sounds pretty lean up there still:(

we hit it up today and theres about a foot and a half of sugar it sucks for long tracks the shorts are eh. itll be a good base but dont waste your time goin up there

We broke in some newbs at P-ville today. True there is only about 18" of snow with no base but it is rideable. The road is in great shape. We shot in and out in no time. Good first ride for us.

Rode the ville friday and today. Saw some carnage standing next to my sled in the parking lot. 2 ditch diving trucks w/trailers and a guy on an m8 tear his ski off five feet from the lot on a stump.

They need a ton more snow, but still a fun trip.

I rode there today as well. Drove up to the 121 parking lot Friday night and rode in on (and off) the East-west express trail but got off trail and never found my way even to the reflector tree. Agree with what others have said, it was OK to get some seat time but it really needs a couple more feet now that a few of us have packed the base down. Only carnage I saw was my own rolling my new sled on it's break-in ride.

We went on friday. there was enough to satisfy the urge and it was starting to snow on our way out.

We were probably one of the ditch divers you saw akmclean. Some jerk with a huge halmark was haulling a$$ around the corner in the middle of the road and ran us into the ditch . I was not happy.

luckly two gentlemen in an extera helped us out :).

You must have been the one closer tot he kroto parking lot. I didn't actually see that happen, but people rip down that road waaay to fast, especially through those parking lots where kids and dogs are playing and people are pulling out all the time into the road. The other guy, he just plain ran off the road. We would have helped but we have a 27 foot motorhome....

They are still forcasted to get up to 30 inches so let pray to the snow gods!

We went yesterday and it was as everyone stated 12-18 inches of snow, but it was good for the kids to get some seat time. In Skwenta it is snowing now and looks to be moving north by looks of the satellite. We can hope.

Just got a report from a friend of mine, Petersville has gotten 14" of snow in the last 24hours and are expecting another 2-3' by the weekend. Cross your fingers.

Fromt the guys at Kenny Creek:

December 1, 2009 - It is currently 31 degrees and
snowing. Winds light out of the north. We recived
about 7" last night and it's still coming down pretty
good. Forecast is for another 12"-18" today and an
additional 6"-12" tonight, temps remaining steady in the
mid 20's to low 30's. That could bring our storm total
to around 3 FEET! NOAA issued a Winter Storm
Warning yeterday which means they finally got one
right! Warning is in effect until 9:00PM. Check back
later for the latest. The weekend looks to bring mostly
sunny skies with temps coolong off. This could be one
of those weekends gang. And if your lucky enough to
be unemployed, beat the rush and get out here!

My buddy called me earleir this morning and was stuck in the middle of the road!!!!!!!
This is a 3/4 Ton truck pulling an open trailer. @ 11:00 the road was not plowed to kroto, the grater showed up and pulled them out. I would say, it is shaping up there!
