Just got this snow report from Craig at Gate Creek:

Good afternoon, I'm pleased to tell you that’s it’s snowing and has been on and off all night. Temps have ranged from 30 -36. As of 1pm we have about 1” of snow on the Gravel driveways and the Lawn … so the Ground temp has also dropped and it looks like this snow might stick! YIPPEE

I hope you all have your gardening chores finished, and your Summer/Autumn honey dew lists are done and put away … because it’s time to fire up the old ski-Doo’s and get ready for Winter Fun !!! We are going to have an AWESOME Winter!! Lots of snow, decent temps and an upswing in the Overall economy.

the anchorage hillside probably has the most snow in the state. it hasnt stopped snowing there in 2 days and according to the radar its the only mountains getting anything.
