permits

Looking at the state park web site it looks like, to ride a sled at crystal springs you would need a snowmobile snow park permit, a discover pass and a special groomed trail permit $40.00!!! is this correct?

permit

the normal pass that you get with sled tabs says( special groomed trail permit required only in designated area} then lists the areas including crystal springs, look at your sno-park permit and tell me what it says

It may be a little confusing but the SnoPark permit is for both the motorized and non-motorized SnoParks. The special groomed trail permit only pertains to the non-motorized people.

The following is from the State Parks website and the special groomed trails are for the non-motorized users:

Special Groomed Sticker: $40, valid for the entire winter recreation season. This permit is required at Sno-Parks with special-groomed trails (Cabin Creek, Crystal Springs, Hyak, Lake Easton, Chiwawa, Lake Wenatchee, Nason Ridge and Mount Spokane). An annual Sno-Park Permit (motorized or non-motorized) also is required with this permit.
