well i heard saturday was epic, blue skies and pow. great conditions for trail riders now sunday was when the real mountain riders came out unloaded at windigo in near white out conditions and headed up the mountain. me and terry, aka HERO, laid waste to everything in site!!! he got the new stator in his sled and redeemed himself from last time showed me a bunch of his favorite ways to dismount his sled while still moving, quite the trick rider! bailed off everything i did, with the soft pow carving downhill was awesome, tried to tell me i was crazy, told him this was how real moutain riders ride and bailed off another ridge away we went!!! showed him very little mercy, did skip a couple of the biggest more technical climbs, will save them for another day. several times went through some pretty nasty stuff, thought for sure he wasn't gonna make it, then here he'd come, busting pow and tearing it up. just ask him what he thinks of my "shortcuts"
got some pics, one of hero inspecting the depth of the ditch, stopped at my favorite lunch spot for a break, and one of the precious in the creek new things weren't gonna be good when i went in and the front just sank!!! at least i got it so the nose was going up the other side, would have hated to have to get it out nose first!!! hadn't been out west in a couple of months, was a blast...
