Perfect Backcountry sled

i riide in nh and me as well. last year i bought an 800 etec back country x thinking it would do what i want it to do in all situations. this year i'm going to a pro rmk 155. i am keep the etec for long trail rides, but the gade to me is pointless. i wish it was a shorty.

Who talked ya into that :)

I've been riding my Pro RMK for over 1000 miles in NH/ME. Hands down the best sled I've ever owned (and ridden) It does just fine on the trails, actually very manageable for a mountain sled. I ride like 25% trails, 75% off. I wouldn't trade it for any other sled on snow right now. Dont be affraid of the 155. The assault track is even better suited for trail duty.

i talked myself into it thank you very much. well the xp chassis talked me into it to be honest.

Sounds more and more like I may be leaning toward a 155 pro. We've been getting good snowfall the last 4 years, so having plenty of duff on the trail shouldn't be a problem. This will be my first mountain sled, so I'm just trying to get my **** straight before I pull the trigger. Now I just have to try and find one. Jackman may be the place to start. Thanks for all the advice. It helps.

this is my first mountain sled as well. if it doesn't work out i can always sell it. but i don't see that happening. the standard rmk is prob better for us seeing as it has the front cooler, but i couldn't find a single one here. everyone was only ordering pro's. i only checked a few dealerships though.
