Penticton area for riding?

I live there. Not sure what you are after. No organized trail riding as the local club is a "social club". Lots of logging roads and sub alpine play zones but lacks big hills and powder. Apex ski Resort has some destined areas and don't frown on sleds in/around the village but often the snow is hard or minimal.
I head to the north end of the valley each weekend (2-3 hours) for my riding experience. The big hills usually start in Sicamous and Revelstoke.
Let me know if you need any more info.

Thankyou Randy, It's about a 4 hour trip for us and it just seemed like a great place for a family weekend. You're area sure grew abunch in the last 5 years. So near the skihill is the best bet though?

Thanks
Steve

if you head out naramata rd., take a right up arawana rd, you will come to arawana fsr. you can park where there is enough snow, and ride up to chute lake, and/or greyback lake. from there, you can access little white, greyback mtn., or just explore logging roads, and play in cut-blocks...there's always the 201 fsr to cruise, as well...spent many weekends up there last year...
