Peak 2.5 track

How is the peak 155 2.5 track compaired to stock looking for a direct swap more toward the new 2.6 than the stock 2.4. But know the 2.6 won't have optimal clearance

2.6 is supposed to be a direct swap and as far as clearance, they all have the same clearance with ice packed in there. All the peak reviews that I have heard are all over the board with a lot being bad or trenching involved. 2.6 is my vote.

I changed to Peak 2.5 last year, max durometer so it's hard ar f**
This suits me perfect since we do not have the super soft/deep powder in the areas where I drive. No problem with clearing, and it was a direct swap.
But the difference was incredible! It felt like I had put a clutch kit on it, it pull's like heck and comes up out of the snow when we have the few day's with supersoft snow

I felt the track was quite heavy, I ran the hard and soft versions. The hard was a trenching mofo, in set up snow or on the packed trail it was easy to get great traction. The soft is a little better but still trenches. I would go with the the camo2.5 or stock 2.6 track. Unless you are in super hard snow. I sold both of my peak tracks to hill climbers.

Peak

Here is the older hard duro peak. 1500 miles or so. I don't baby tracks, spinning on ice, rocks, logs, blacktop ect. Delamination has set in pretty bad the last 50 miles.
I would prefer to run a multi duro peak, but I've found a used ce2.5 for replacement.

Again this was the 9181m...would run the 9230m peak if you really want to try it out.
