Patriot Boost mufflers/cans ??

I haven't talked to Diamond-S directly, but Burandt has commented a few times on the NA Matryx Diamond-S release video that the boost version is almost done, just going through some final on-snow testing. Should definitely be this season, I would guess early 2022.
I called Diamond-S yesterday. They just got a sled last week and are testing their prototype now. I was basically told they don't have a date set but was left with impression that some will be showing up early January. The stock can on the boost is pretty quiet and heavy I am pretty excited to get it off but still think Diamond-S is going to be worth the wait. I would probably put a Bikeman on if they were to put it in the mail for me today though!

Does anyone have a review on the Diamond S can for their boost?
Noice level
Any performance gain or loss
Overall quality of the can, welds, ease of instalation etc?

No issues no performance loss. Actually thought it ran better. As for noise nice tone not crazy loud.
Install pretty easy. Quality super lightweight welds etc looks good . Looks pretty good after a heat cycle.

I've heard of other Diamond S Titanium cans cracking, has anyone had any issues with the boost cans cracking or breaking?

I had one Crack on an 850 Doo. Scott had it back to me 5 days from the day I shipped it to him. They stand behind their stuff. I haven't heard issues since then on any of their cans. It was the very first batch of the 850 Doo cans.

I have seen 3 diamond-s can crack, mine did a couple times. They do stand behind the product, but shipping it there and back from Canada cost close to 100 each way. The cans I seen with issues were flat top and bottom, now there is a bit of a dome on them. They sure are light and quiet.

I’ve heard the same.. curious if these boost cans are any better, for over $1,000 Canadian they damn well better not fall apart

That's my concern also. At $839 american that works out to $1082 canadian. add tax at 11% in Sask and we are at $1201 and that's before shipping and brokerage that ups will hit us with. so they will likely land at very close to $1300. I definitely don't want to spend that if there are still cracking issues.

Titanium pretty much always cracks with age and vibration.

Just a matter of time.

500-700 miles is probably safe.

Really??? I would think for that money you should get at least 3000 miles out of one.
titanium aviation parts have an extremely short lifespan and get replaced about 3x as often as aluminum. Or 10x as often as chromoly steel.

It’s the nature of the material, nothing to do with the price.

Granted diamond S does amazing work and will probably last much longer than a SSI titanium part…………

Thermal shock can cause cracks too. I would expect wrapping it with header tape might help reduce vibrations and stabilize tempertures. Especially if snow gets on it. If I was spending that much, the little extra for tape would be justified.

I'm probably going to wait for SLP to release but has anyone heard any feedback on the Bikeman can?
