Has anyone out there ever been up to the alpine above the pasayten river? Is it worth trying ? I have a cabin in Eastgate and just bought a couple of sleds so I need all the help I can get on where to go close by.
You have a few options. Down the pasayten you can go all the way down into the old (i mean the old burn from the 80's not the one from a few years ago) on the left hand side of the valley. forget the name of the lake up in the alpine but i know of a few locals who make their way up there. would be more trail riding with some interesting quad route up to the alpine. other options are towards princeton and go up the whipsaw. lots of area to play in up there.
