Parting out 04 efi King - sold - thanks

How did it work out for you guys that parted out your 900's? I am selling my three sleds inorder to get a '10 m8 snow pro. My 04' KK efi has developed a problem glitch in the mid rpm range and a long story short I don't feel good about selling it as is and I am tired of replacing and rebuilding parts trying to figure it out. This sled has alot of aftermarket parts and an efi motor so it should be a good sled to part out but a buddy of mine warns me as to the hassle of doing this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

price out what you think all the parts are worth and add it up, in most cases you make more then the sleds worth. The downfall is that it can take a while to get rid of all the parts. Between all the message boards and ebay, you should be able to get everything sold.

You wouldn't happen to have a set of sledjunky's drop brackets on the King would ya? I'll take them if ya do!

Yes I do have sled junkie drop brackets. I just need to get the motor sold first and then the rest can go.

I am looking for a crank for my 900. What would you take for the crank or the motor?

I would like to get $1000 for the motor with the stock domes. One chilinder is new with two rides on it. The crank had seals and bearing two seasons ago.

Hey thanks guys. I think I responded to every body. I am going to let all the parts go. I know that once I ride my new cat I'll never want to ride it again anyhow. Do me a favor though, let me know what you would like to pay for a part and it I give you a price and you think it is too high just let me know. I don't want to give the parts away. I have two or three shops up here that will buy the majority of parts from me this fall and winter. Alot of guys love these big king cats up here.
