PART 9... 2013 POLARIS RMK... now released.

Thanks, for some reason I was thinking they changed it for the belt drive.

Rode a 13 pro 155" at the horns this weekend. I was lucky enough to be one of the first groups and found some untouched steep and deep. Compared to my 12 pro 163", I couldn't tell much of a difference boondocking, but in the climb, it carved even better than my 12 does (which I thought was impossible). A lot of fun in a sidehill. After the ride, I told wifey that it would be a better sled for her because its so flickable and easy to ride.

I was there also for that ride. Our group of 4 back in untouched powder, also. Agree the 155 2013 was easier in tight turns compared to the 2012 163 but assumed that was mostly a track length issue. When comparing 2012 and 2013 155's did not notice quite the difference but I did sense the 13 was quicker to respond to rider input but not everyone in our group felt the same.

I liked the 2013 pro and if were to buy would get a 155. But if the price I hear is true I will be waiting and buying one used or stay on my M8's, which are so close to the pro in handling, but with more power (2011 M8) which is noticeable, that for the price difference would not even entertain that purchase.

Lol. There is an entire thread solely dedicated to JUST the price myth.

Pricing WILL NOT BE SET until March 4.

The 14k rumor hads nothing to do with buying the sled. That's the value of the prize if you win Polaris's promo.

I can't believe people are still hung up on that $14,500 number. Again, like Scott said, that is the entire value of the prize. (Sled, airfare, hotels, food, etc, etc)

I believe they don't think the Poo will be that far up the hill to worry about what happens if the drive belt breaks.
Doo needs the brake on the drive axle!!!!!:face-icon-small-win

Question: If the belt breaks how do you stop the sled. The brake rotor is on the top not on the bottom were the driver is.

LOL, coming from Mr Broken Doo chain, don't you think you're risking Bad Karma by even saying " break " and "Doo drive axle" in the same sentence. At least you'llhave nice warm sammiches while waiting for the chopper. LOL. 2013 XM TT suspension. ( Xtra Meat, Teeter Totter )

(Xtra Meat, Teeter Totter ) Good one lol Will be eating sammiches with my buddy Poo Bros.
