gave my dealer money yesterday....sno check baby.. now do i ride the 2013 or do i ride the silber boosted 2012..ah he!! turbo the new one too..

This is my plan!:face-icon-small-hap If the engine hasnt changed much Im buying another silber kit ASAP.

figure as well most everything would be a easy swap on a 11 or 12 other than the boards, and the skinz boards fix that pretty qiuck, i'm really supprised they did not do a quick port/remap for a extra 15 hp tho

Question:

On the last picture on the provided Polaris link, the picture shows the "new" lightened can, but it is on an OLD sled with a chain case. Why would they show that and not the "new" belt drive setup behind it?

...currently wondering if the motor has been tweaked at all. I understand that the belt drive gets more power to the track but is there more power too?

RAW REFINED

The low-profile LED tailight, lightweight punched snow flap with hand access and carbon fiber bumper with extruded billet mounts add style and function. New, narrower tunnel cooling extrusions save weight.

Even less cooling????

That was the very description of "anti-climactic". They would have been better off leaving the running boards for the last day reveal, as that is the only change that has any real substance. IMO

I thought the marketing guys were doing a good job, but they got the timing and order completely wrong. They left people hoping for a big final change and deliver nothing but photo's?

So....in a nutshell, here is what's new, right?

Lightest. Strongest. Most Flickable.

417 lbs of Terrain Domination.

What's New For 2013

  • QuickDrive™ Low Inertia Drive System
  • PowderTrac™ Running Boards
  • Carbon Fiber Overstructure
Cool!

Next up...increased ponies and direct injection for 2014 or 2015???

I see not one person mentioned the high tech white windshield. Count me in on the long list of people who were wrong about a new motor. I am actually a little relieved. I thought they were going to drop a bomb and announce that the new model ran on water or something, therefore making my sled worthless. Their marketing campaign was kind of like the movie "No Country For Old Men". Great movie, crappy ending. Oh well, the end result is a 417 lb factory mountain sled. Tough to knock on that...

I'm sticking with my 11 Pro RMK Boondocker and airframes. Doesnt have a belt drive but dont really care sled looks sweet though I'm waiting a year or two.
