Just to let you know, your going to need a turbo at Albany. I saw a guy with a CR tunneled, MC Express turbo Nytro tearing it up on A Cup Hill. I don't know how them short tracks make it!:face-icon-small-hap

Save it for the real hills.

Shouldn't you let them sleds warm up more before attempting a hill as big as A Cup?

They need to set up a grand stand so people can watch the rodeo at Albany parking lot.:D

Yep, the oneupmanship is quite high at the popular parking areas. I learned long ago the guys you really need to watch out for are the ones that show up with an old pick-up truck, open trailer, and modest machine. Those guys are likely to put on the riding clinic. High dollar equipment will ultimately overcome, but not without seat-time. The theory applies to stock car racing, motocross, mountain biking, etc, etc.

my 17 yr old and my 10 yr old went with me on tuesday. we rolled into the parking lot just in time to see this guy on a rented sled with the track sticking straight up in the air. I thougt my 10 yr old was going to piss his pants laughing.the guide that was with about 5 of these people . he asked where we go . I told him we like to ride the 305 to get to the hills.I proceeded to tell him that if the guys in the parking lot hot rodding around want to try to go that way forget it. you will be working your azz off getting them unstuck all day. we had agreat time got back to the truck loaded up. and on the way down the ambulance was heading up i'am guessing for one of those guy's. all that i'am saying is if you think that your good hot rodding around the parking lot you better think twice before you hit the mountain

I saw a guy today that should have been in a video, came down off a-cup and jumped the burm, man it was so spedcial, landing on solid pack. like a flying douche canoe.

Yea I love those Greenie/flatlander boys in the parking lot.. Makes for some smiles and laughes before we head home for the night..:D

Keep up the good work you guys, us locals are loving it!! Those parking lots are where its at baby!!

We saw the same guy on Sat. morning (had the KN Filter sticking out of the sled). Funny we didn't come across him in the deep stuff though.

I always get a kick out of watching the big boys playing on "A" cup hill while we get ready. Makes for about 15 minutes of entertainment till we leave.

Always amazes me that we can show up, start the machines to warm up, gear up, unload the sleds, get all the gear on the sleds and leave and the same people that were standing around when we got there, will be standing around when we leave.

You've obviously witnessed our group get ready then. I could ride to "The Place" for breakfast, and we still wouldn't be ready to go. It takes a long time to get ready when you have to stop for a smoke break in between lacing up your boots.

We can't all be as good as you; however, I'll tell ya what I'm gonna do. I grew up a flatlander but have since moved out west so I could live amongst you winners. Since I've been here, I've started a list, and I'm gonna add your name to it. When the list gets long enough, I gonna summons all the names on that list up the mountain and open a can of whoopa$$ on all you local boys for a day. We'll know who the bigshots are and who the big talkers are after we're finished.

You, I like.;):beer;

Now, back to the original intent of the thread.
Fun.

We were about ready to go one morning when we had to just stop and watch.
And then we started laughing. I am not talking a behind the back giggle. I am talking a point and roll laugh.

There are 3 guys that have a hold of the bumpers on there stubbies (short tracks) and they are doing stretches. Looks like they are trying hump their sleds.

On another trip this guy is running up and down "A" cup hill. This little boy on his 120 takes a run and climbs higher than the guy on the big boy sled. I laughed about that for an hour (ever try to ride while you are laughing, it's not easy).

i am seriously going to hit you when we get in the rig today. what about the times when we have to wait for you to get your self unstuck and back to the group when boondocking because you left without a buddy.

cant wait 2 hours left.
