It wasn't two weeks ago and I know it takes them a 3-4 weeks to get it plowed.

Park Creek Road
They will start plowing Feb. 20, usually takes at least a week to get up too the Elwood turn off
The Powder busters groomed the park creek road today, from trail head to the Elwood turn off ( just below the mine). Should be really good riding.

But until then it IS open to sleds. It'll be nice once it's plowed. I'd rather burn gas in my pickup than in my sled on 17 miles of road any day!

With the Park Creek road plowed I guess I dont need to bring any extra gas for my artic cat friends. Never mind, if you know my friends extra gas is a must.

Forget about the gas..... you flat out need us up there to make tracks for you and lead you the right direction! Can you post your video from today of what happens when you wonder off all by yourself?
I cant imagine park creek is much fun to drive with a trailer. Its pretty much single lane right ?

I pulled a 4 place up Park Creek for several years, the problem can be turning around. Every once in awhile a Subaru would park in the middle of the only turn around. If this happens you have to go on up to mine ( few miles up).
Back a few years ago they plowed all winter long, worked out real good.
Now they just get it opened in time for the spring run off. So unless we get some good storms after plowed open, not worth going up anyway.
