PAR or CPI

Wanting a tad bit more outta my sled. Thinking either PAR Ultimate combo or CPI's power up. Now I ride anywhere from 900'-10,000'. How hard would it be to change domes when going out west? Or could I just run a 12.5 comp head out west and just sacrifice a little performance?

Also didn't want to hijack a different thread but can a guy run a HPS can on the SLP pipe? One guy says yes, another no. I want a little more noise out of it. How does the CPI pipe and can compare to other cans for noise. I ride in the middle of nowhere so noise is not an issue.

Any input would be great. thanks.

There are several out there.

PAR is good.
I know SLP is good.
HM Turbos also has one. I have been on theirs. I know it's good.

Rather it not be if I can help it. Want the easiest(going to dif altitudes), most reliable, and best bang for my buck.

ND- i'm looking at doing the same to my 13 pro and leaning hard toward the RK tech piston/head, clutching, fuel controller also. I seems legit for whats included in the price I had discussed with Kelsey. I also live in ND and we always need an extra guy to come with to cooke. PM me if interested in some trips.

Par combo= par head, slp pipe, pcv, mds weights. CPI power up= par head, CPI pipe, pcv, mds weights. I'm going CPI on my 2014 as it make more hp then slp.

When I talked to brad( par ) . About pipe options, he told me the CPI made a few more hp, but pipe was harder to get because is hand made, so he went to slp because they have a lot more inventory, and can keep up with the demand he needed.

So CPI could be the way to go IF a guy could get hands on one?

The RK tek sounds like the best bang for the buck but its kinda hard to put that back to stock if need be for warranty work. I want something that hits hard but yet is still fairly loud and sounds good. SLP doesn't quite fit that.

CPI has them in stock, it's just hard to get orders of 30-40 at a time

Ahhh well I only need one. How would I go about heads since I'm a flatlander and go to the mountains few times a year?

If you want to just use pump fuel go 12.5 head. If you want to mix race and pump for the flats, and pump in the mountains go 13.1 head. If it was me I would go 12.5 if you only ride mt. Few times a year

Okay sounds good. Thanks for all the help. As for setup with clutching, go with what they recommend?
