Packing gear on a new sled ?

OK I know when I am beat.Shannon, not only will I buy the trailer,I will even help install the hitch on your sled.I think we better use your turbo that way I can bring more fuel!
I even have a name for your new setup,Valdez II.
Let me know where you are at,I might be able to come down this weekend.

Tim, I am one step ahead of you, I already bought a freight trailer, that way I can haul everybody's stuff, plus an extra sled in case someone needs one or if I run across a backcountry skier who is too tired to ski out.
As far as were I'm at? I think I'm somewere in between being on the verge of insanity and, I forgot where I'm at.
I think it needs to snow, that would be a good thing.
Your sled is looking very good, next time you visit VE ask Mike if he can ceramic coat pipes.

Shannon, I got someone that can do the pipes. If there is three or more he can probably do them right away.If you want, I will come and get them. I'll call tomorrow and we can figure it out.....Mean while get the freighter ready.

I have that under seat bag on mine, and works great. The problem is it really doesn't hold a lot, an extra set of goggles, snack, adna small tool pouch and thats it! I guess for its location of being out of the way its a nice little investment, but I still use a pack all the time to take my stuff with me, including a cat leash!!!!! haha, our group is always stuck...

Depends on how much stuff you want to carry!!!

Craiger Built Flat-Pac

It looks dorky, but stores a lot and works for me..
Bunje, tools, running board shovel (which will hopefully be used less w/ Better Boards!), sammich, drink, hat gloves blah blah etc etc..
I don't ride any different than as if it weren't there..Rolls, jumps, etc seems like a solid setup...easy to remove to take inside, dry out etc if needed.

Water, gloves, emergency foods, shovel, etc in my pack.. GTG

If your riding in the back country...PACK for an overnighter...so you don't have to eat all my foods n drink...
I've never been close to over nighting..but probability says it will happen..obviously chances go up drastically the more days you ride.
