Are you guys that are detonating with these heads running any kind of fuel controller?
I'm just curious as I have a 13.6 head ready to install also I am running a

No fuel controller for me, like everyone else is saying we probably just need to run a little race fuel. I'll be riding at around 10,000 ft this weekend so i'll give it a shot and see how we do!

Hey BILTIT,what did dan say about changing your head? Will it void your warranty.I have one of his motors also,have a par head with 13.6 domes sitting in my shop, i have been thinking about putting it on.Old motor would hit det a lot running 91 with this head,i finally pulled bolt out of sensor and zip tied it up,no more problems.Checked my pistons wash a few times and they were perfect.

He didn't say anything about warranty issues but did say it will probably det a bit so he recommended putting the stock head back on. I don't have a stock head so I kept the par head on and haven't seen any det at 2200' but have not put many miles on here either. I just installed a pcv aswell. Once I put the 13.6 domes in a will be running 30% race at this elevation and see how it works, also will try running 1gal/tank when I hit the mountains (6-8500').

If you take your sled to a dealer with a aftermarket head on it, dont be surprised if your warranty gets voided. Some dealers are by the book some are pretty lenient with you adding mods. Jus be careful....

i'm not running a fuel controler as i understand 11s don't need one
i think 11&12s are good with out but 13s need some kinda fuel box
