P85 for a rotax 800r "balanced"

G
this clutch is excellent shape. it is the heavy duty forged spider big bushing cover clutch. comes with a set up for hi elevation for the xp 800r. 250 plus shipping

How did it work on your sled?? Are you running polaris weights in it and how do you calibrate it for different elevations?? Just wondering if you know which weights I would need to run from 0-3000 ft in it in a stock 800 xp renegade?? Thanx

Are you runnig a electric start ring gear on this clutch? The TRA ring gear I have been told by BRP is not only for the electric start but is there for balance as well. I have done some weight comparisons and found the TRA to be heavier than the P85, but with the ring gear they are close. Reason I ask is that if you attemt to pull the engine over with the clutch off its almost impossibile I found this out during a compression test before attemting to do a clutch upgrade.
I have a run a P85 electric start clutch with the ring gear for while and have had a inner sheave failure where it fractured the sheave into peices. So instead of the elec start sheave I used the standard clutch sheave and when starting I came across this resistance to turn over again , so I installed the TRA and the resistance to start was gone...Strange.
So if it is electric start I would be interested in it.
