P-85 on Mountain Max

Has anyone done the Hartman Inc idea of a Polaris P-85 primary on a mountain max? I know its supposed to be a Ultra or Storm clutch. Just looking for feedback before I dump more $'s into Large Marj.

I replaced my clutch with the P-85 about 8 years ago. Hartman setup it up with the weights and spring for my slp pipes. I still ride my '97 MM, it has over 8000 miles on it. It does work very good.

I know the new clutches have gone up in price over the years so it getting expensive for the setup...

I have one on my 700, it works better than the Yammi but I wouldn't buy one unless your clutch needs replacing anyway.

EDIT:

You can use clutches off many, many different Polaris sleds with minimal hassle, I think the one on my sled came off an XLT, I just had to bore the tapered hoe about 1/4" deeper with a 1 1/16 drill bit for it to fit.

I called Hartman when I was setting mine up and he told me he wasn't doing them anymore.

Clutch options

I had the same problem and went with a comet 3 tower clutch, It was about 1/2 the price of a p-85 I had to rebuild it after 3 years of really hard mountain riding.
The Hartman mode is top of the line I spoke with them and would go with the p85 if I need to get another one.
