I've got a p-85 clutch that needs a rebuild, wondering if anyone can give me some input as to weight size, helix, springs??? I am mainly working on the primary but will check the secondary at the same time. The sled is a 680 ultra with pipes and geared down with a 162 track. Also wondered if my other 680 piped with a 144 track could use the same setup or not.

If they are SLP pipes get the number and start here for a baseline for your altitude and pipes, there were some different sets.

There were plenty great running Ultras that people have posted info about on here. Someone can give you more input if you give info, pipes, altitude, etc.

One motor is running slp pipes, 3-6000 feet, gutted air box, stock carbs and 144 track
the other motor is running dyno port pipes, mesh hood, pods, slp needles, 162 track geared down chaincase. Any help would be greatly appreciated elevation is the same for the second sled

just a note, If you need to replace the clutch. The storm clutch has wider rollers and seems to out last the ultra clutch.

the new clutch will not come with weights and springs but the SLP set up will work for your slp set up. Then you can swap it onto the other, It should be close. The good thing is that you have two sleds for comparison.
